Susan Godwin is a contemporary painter living with her husband on Water Hole Branch near Fairhope, Alabama. She was born in Fort Sill, OK and lived in Europe and Puerto Rico as a child. She has been painting professionally since 1996. Susan has studied with many artists in classes and workshops. She travels extensively and approaches each trip as an opportunity to discover new painting ideas and subjects. Susan's studio is in a converted guest house next to her home on the banks of Waterhole Branch. Her work is held in many private and corporate collections throughout the country.
The painting Natalie Plays Artwalk is held in the collection of the Federal Reserve Board (New Orleans branch). Susan's art has been exhibited in many shows. Her work is currently available at Merrill Miller's in Orange Beach, AL, the Southern Breeze Gallery in Jackson, MS, and Ashland Gallery in Mobile, AL.
