Susan Godwin is a painter of abstract and abstract expressionistic paintings. She was born in Oklahoma. Susan has lived in Europe and Puerto Rico. She now lives on Water Hole Branch near Fairhope, AL. She paints in studios there and at a home north of Tuscaloosa, AL (accessible only by boat!). Susan has been painting professionally since 1996. Although Susan has studied with many artists in classes and workshops, she is primarily self-taught. Her work is held in many corporate and private collections. Her painting Natalie Plays Artwalk is held in the collection of the Federal Reserve Board (New Orleans branch). Her work is available at: Ashland Gallery, Mobile, AL; Lyons Share Gallery, Fairhope, Al; Merrill Miller's, Orange Beach, AL, and Southern Breeze Gallery, Jackson, MS.

Also, I have a painting in the judged show at the Walter Anderson Museum of Art in Ocean Springs, on view through the end of December.
